This is some flaming cocktail, served on dry ice
Add a twist of melancholy for the good times
No tab, this one's forever on the house
The despair shrouds the mind, while the loneliness spikes the heart
Where did this invader come from?
Happiness had been here, and suddenly I'm struck dumb and rendered useless by the most wicked of emotions
While one fogs the mind, the other carves a yawning pit in the soul that is ever harder to climb out of
Probable solutions are sh!t unless an outside force acts as a catalyst and changes something vital
Prayers and incoherent babble usher forth from the pit to any who would come to measure it's parameters
If left alone long enough, the sounds would cease, and all would finally be lost
Please don't leave me to be lost in the labyrinthine folds of my own mind
Please, allow some epicurean force to distract me from my apathy and yearning...
