Miscellaneous
(comprehension)
Vision swelling, filling the room
taking up blind space, filling my mind to capacity
Comprehension dances at the corners of this enlarged scope
Peripheral sight's on something I want to see, but too small to focus on
Yearning to just grab the understanding and absorb it,
but knowledge of the fact that it's smoke-like substance
works best when inhaled on its own terms, defeats that endeavor
Understanding, apparently, comes in increments
That's the way of the game, no matter how frustrating , slow, and unsteady
my pace. I rail against my chronological disadvantage,
and slowly realize it just might suit me
